Screed floor or leveling concrete is (water – cement – sand). This concrete is used to raise the level of the floors, after which the floors are installed evenly.
Many people think that screed is a different kind of concrete. But in fact, there is only one difference, which is that fine aggregate is used instead of coarse.
What is screed floor
The screed layer usually consists of a layer of concrete, and a soft floor is formed to help strengthen the foundation of the upper floor. Mostly the concrete thickness is from 100mm to 150mm.
This type of concrete can be used to prevent water leakage. And also to raise the level of floors.
